As the title implies, in home services are just that.  Assistance and services that are carried out in your home that can keep you as independent and safe as possible.  As we age, or if we are disabled our abilities change and we may require help from another person to meet our needs.   

For many people services may include personal care assistance such as bathing, transferring, meals, chore services or money management.  When received, these services enable a person to remain in their own home and community without moving to an alternative living arrangement. The ADRC can assist you in exploring your options for such services or to inquire if such a service or assistance may be available.  For many, a nursing home is not the solution and can be a difficult step to take.  If you are already in a nursing home there are also relocation efforts that the ADRC can assist with in returning you to your residence. This assistance may be through private or public funding based upon a person's needs.
